They wouldn’t be taken down is they played nice with the Dems...and all of the RINOs are more than happy to do whatever it takes to stay in the good graces of the Dems in charge. There would be no need to take them down if they behave as their masters tell them too.
There is nothing stopping the Republicans from taking down some Democrats, just to level the playing field somewhat...
...except that the Republicans historically don't really want the accountability of being in charge.
President Trump is showing them what happens to the bold Republican, both the good and the bad. The good is what happens when real conservative policies get implemented and the people respond; the bad is the bigger target on their backs as desperate Democrats try to roll back the gains as they try to claw back power.
