Just the first step. I assume the next one will require all CHP holders to register their weapons, and then all firearms owners.

After many people registered these weapons, the city passed a law that they were now illegal and must be turned in.
I called out the Police dept/city on this underhanded practice and the person I mentioned it to just smiled.
