Reagan has always been my favorite President. In less than a single term, Trump has forced me to reevaluate my rankings.
I can NEVER.
Maybe a tie when his 8 years are up.
Have to say I’m disappointed with the attitude towards The Great One on this board the past few years.
Even INSULTS.
It could be argued who is a better president.
But WOW do people forget what this country was like.
and WHY the dow is even in a position to go this high.
and WHY there has been almost zero chance for 3 years of all out nuclear war.
And WHO baited the USSR into getting Slaughtered in Afghanistan.
And WHO freed HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of people.
And SO MANY other things.
I won’t be changing my number one spot, as a matter of fact because without Ronald Reagan in the 1980s, there would be NO US to save in the 2020s.

I’m old and I’ve had three heroes in my life.
First and foremost is Winston Churchill and his leadership throughout the first half of the 20th century, particularly WWII (of him I have no direct experience, only historical in nature). The second is Ronald Reagan for his peaceful destruction of the Soviet Union, along with my number three hero, Pope John Paul II and his part in the fall of the Soviets.
I think I’m about to add Donal Trump to my pantheon of heroes. I am watching closely! Just my $.02.
