Love how these politicians always “suspend” rather than “terminate” their campaigns... as if some unexpected groundswell of support is going to cause a Marianne Williamson or Julian Castro or Kamala Harris to come roaring back into the game.
I think they have to say “suspend” so they can legally continue to collect donations to pay any debt incurred during the campaign. I read that on FR a few years ago.
