According to news reports, our B-52s don't even have to be over target and put in jeopardy. They each can carry 22 cruise missle, which can be launched and seek their own target. Our B-52s can stay in safe air space.

the b-52’s are window dressing. 6 b-52’s carry 20 tomahawks =120. 1 of the converted boomers, from nuke to conventional holds 120 by its self. thus the only real reason for the b-52 would be to deliver moab, daisy cutters or bunker busters after a take down of the entire defensive missile capability of Iran. That would be total war, not going to happen.

We use to have 3 prepositioned fleets. Each fleet carried enough to equip 25,000 marines and supply them for 30 days. That is how the USMC got so many Marines to the gulf in the first gulf war.

Not sure whats in the two fleets now but I am sure it will allow a bunch of Marines to get there fast.

weapons grade plutonium.

This is the best chance we will have to make sure Iran does not achieve a viable nuclear weapon to be used on Israel and the rest of we non Muslim “kaffirs” of the world.
