LOL - actually we WANT them to feel no one can be trusted. One of the weak points of totalitarian hellholes is it’s hard to trust the types of thugs who rise to the top... Playing the ‘you can’t trust anyone’ card is fun... because it drives them nuts - and because (for totalitarians) it’s true.
