Baghdad (AFP) - Iraqi armed factions called on Tuesday for an urgent meeting to face "the war against the resistance," after a US strike on Baghdad last week killed top Iranian and Iraqi commanders.
"We will regroup the forces of the resistance in a single entity to respond to Washington," said Nasr al-Shammary, deputy head of the Harakat al-Nujaba group.

As predicted we have achieved absolutely nothing in the ME of any real value. Maybe killing bin Laden makes us feel better. But basically our lives and treasure have been squandered for nothing. When the troops were staging in Saudi Arabia the Saudis brought in soil from other countries for our troops to build bases on because they didn’t want the infidels walking on their “holy” soil. Just now reported, the Iranian Foreign Minister is reported to have communicated , we have just taken appropriate military actions against military targets in accordance with UN Resolution 51. We do not wish to escalate this conflict any further.
If this is true,then the “Saving Face” attack theory may be valid.
However, I would not let them off the hook so easily. I would use this attack as an opportunity to take out critical military and oil production infrastructure and then issue our own UN Resolution 51 statement.
