I have seen and took notice of these ads. I have also noticed more and more mixed race couples in commercials. But happy to see the GEICO woodchuck ad pop up again.

It’s a double-edged sword. White people see it as “Look how virtuous we are” and minorities see it as “Good-looking person of color demonstrates their success by choosing a white person”

Yep, and it’s always a white guy with a black wife, rather than the reverse, which is much more common. Actually, more common is a fat white chick with mixed race babies from several different black daddies.
