One of the most colossal blunders this country ever made was to invade Iraq and overthrow Saddam Hussein. He was a brutal bastard, but he kept Iran in check.
We should have left Khadaffi alone as well.

Many (most?) world leaders are assholes. Qdaffy (sp?) was an asshole until Reagan dropped a bomb down his chimney to show him what could happen. Then Hillary and Obozo got rid of him to install their even bigger asshole. They tried it in Egypt also. The trick is to pick the best asshole and let him be.
