The Virginia Socialist Democrats have overplayed their hand. Their proposed gun control laws will make immediate felons out of ordinary law-abiding citizens. The people have seen the Democrat’s true intention now.

The Democrats may retreat from their current position but they will regroup and charge again in the near future.

This is the definition of media bias. They are not “lying” about the hearings, they simply are pretending they did not even happen.

Exactly!

That's why we have to bypass the MSM and utilize FR, Citizen Free Press, The Liberty Daily, etc.

That's why Trump is using Twitter (which I got kicked off about a year ago) to get his message out directly to the public. And the MSM hates him for it.

BTW, I can still read stuff on Twitter including Trump's tweets, I just can't post. And I can do searches for keywords: #VCDL #2A, #Virginia #Iran etc

Other than the Governor being your run of the mill gun grabber has anyone speculated why Virginia?
Is it the proximity to DC? is it that they manage to flip it purple in a relatively short span of time?
Is it the symbolism? Jefferson/Constitution/1 of the original 13 States..?
Otherwise, why wouldn’t they target say Maryland..which would seem like a easier state to confiscate guns and generally steam roll their citizenry?

THe state did very little to advertise — I learned about the hearings on my drive to work thursday, which was too late to change my work schedule.

The hearings were on the first work day of the new year, BUT conveniently still when teachers were off work for the holidays.

The democrats then tried to pack all the hearings with teachers, to ask for more money — I’m sure the teachers unions were given a heads-up on the hearing schedules.

I am happy that so many gun owners were able to mobilize on extremely short notice.

They were represented at all 4 meetings, although the Richmond NBC station worked hard to get a picture at that hearing that ONLY shows the teachers union representatives, who had taken up most of the seats.

The teachers were out of school!! That had not occurred to me. Thanks!!

If you need to do that, the time for using them has come and gone.

Congress to the rescue (yeah, right) of Virginia gun rights supporters whose 2nd Amendment (2A) protections are being threatened by activist commonwealth officials!

If commonwealth parents were making sure that commonwealth schools are teaching their children their constitutional protections, then school children would be able to calm their pro-2A parents down by explaining the following to them.

The states have given Congress the express 14th Amendment (14A) power to make penal laws to discourage state and commonwealth actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated protections.

From the 14th Amendment:

In fact, the congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, the main author of Section 1 above, had included 2A when he read the Bill of Rights as main examples of constitutionally enumerated protections that 14A applies to the states.

John Bingham, Congressional Globe. (See 2nd Amendment (Article II) about in middle of 2nd column.)

H O W E V E R…

We’re still stuck with a worthless Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration that will predictably munch popcorn while watching commonwealth officials take away everybody’s guns on CNN during breaks from their mock impeachment of PDJT.

The remedy for constitutionally failed federal, state and commonwealth governments…

All patriots in the country need to come to the rescue of citizens being oppressed by Virginia officials and state actors in other states.

More specifically, patriots need to elect a new patriot Congress in November that will not only promise to fully support PDJT’s already excellent work for MAGA, now KAGA, but will also do this.

New patriot lawmakers also need to promise to exercise their 14A power to make penal laws that discourage state and commonwealth actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated rights, 2A protections in this example.

Remember in November!

MAGA! Now KAGA! (Keep America Great Always!)

From the article:

"Elaine Wood, a Nokesville gun owner, gestured to the crowd as she chastised the lawmakers, saying, “I find it ironic that we are discussing gun control in a building named after George Mason!”

That comment set the tone for the day as scores of citizens streamed to the microphone to demand that planned gun control expenditures by statehouse Democrats be scrapped in favor of increased funding for teachers and those with disabilities."

George Mason of Virginia, author of the Bill of Rights, wrote:

the NRA is to RINO's, as the VCDL & GOA is to conservative Trump supporters.

I highly recommend hooking up with the GOA (nationally), the VCDL (Virginia only issues.)

Agreed. I'll be looking into GOA this weekend. In Michigan, I'm not sure if MiCRGO is still active...

If the threat to our 2nd Amendment rights is so bad that we are compelled to hide our guns, then it is past time to use them for their original Constitutional purpose - to resist tyranny.

“Does VA have a means of recalling their legislators?”

Short answer is NO.
Neither the Virginia constitution or law applies for recall of any elected state officer. It has never been litigated in the courts or voted on in the legislature.

We do have an impeachment process that requires a majority vote in the House of Delegates and a two thirds vote in the State Senate.

The only recall the citizens can participate in is one that ends with the hemp necktie.

Expect a false flag soon that the MSM will capitalize on immediately. Antifa (according to some people) have been seen in the area.

Better start burying or moving your guns to out state storage.

Our ideological opponents consider those responses nearly as good as turning them in.
