50 million casualties seems high. That's almost as many as the entire Vietnam War. If the civil conflict is fought mainly within Virginia itself, I don't see that many dead. But I am no military strategist or historian. But this won't be a military conflict. It will be a guerrilla, civilian one.

But a civil conflict of heavily armed citizens against a tyrannical state government would favor the citizens, it would seem.

Again, I think the democRATS in Virginia are biting off more than they can chew. I don't think this goes beyond a ruling from the Supreme Court which will find in favor of the 2nd Amendment rights of the citizenry.

A Virginia civil war woukd soon get enmeshed with all the other things Dems have been trying the last 15 years to enslave us and conquer us, impeachment, etc. it would not stop at the VA border, and China would also get involved, if not openly, certainly behind the scenes. So it would not stay an in-state civil war for very long at all.

That's my number if it goes national. There are a lot of possible paths, but they all seem to end up at the same infrastructure breakdown. If it stays in VA, the number will be much lower, of course.
