Trump will not have a shortage of money. The challenge will even out once the Dems coalesce around a single candidate.
Only a major sag in the economy or more bogus impeachment charges can derail the Trump train. And frankly, I’m not that convinced any more about the latter. I think more and more people are getting tired of it. Even my liberal brother in law blames Congress for wasting time on this knowing he’ll never be removed from office.
War with Iran would also derail reelection. It needs to be avoided.

Given that modern elections are essentially high-dollar media campaigns, you’d better believe he will be short of money. I’ve seen estimates that the enemedia expended air-time worth $3-5 BILLION against him in 2016 and will likely commit on-air hostility worth many times that in 2020.
This reality becomes all the more problematic once the social media fascists refuse to allow him a presence on their platforms.
