Looks like the globalist lobbyists had a field day with this one, which certainly disadvantages domestic startups in the cosmetics industry.
The law has a lot of carve-outs. That’s actually one reason why it is being sued on violations of equal rights and interstate commerce. Because it does affect content writers but not photographers, does affect Uber drivers delivering items but not the MLM salespeople who sold the items being delivered.
I had a variety of Dems blow up at me for bringing this up: they’re so busy hating on Trump that almost no one reported on a bad law that took a year to pass. You had time to review the legislation and push back, but no, orange man bad dominated the discussion.
The immediate impact is that crowdsourcing workers in other states are getting a boost while California contractors are shut out. Very few California contractors can afford to set up an LLC to continue working. It will increase demand for foreign contractors, too, whether writing product descriptions or code.
The ONLY phrase I EVER want to hear a Democrat say is “I was wrong! I’m voting for Trump!”

When LIEberals show their hatred towards the rest of us on a second/minute/hour/day/week/month/quarterly/semi-annual/annual/24/7/365 basis, it becomes increasingly difficult for me to think of them as anything other than “anti-American traitors.”
This group of people who are spending EVERY waking minute of their lives trying to destroy the greatest country ever conceived in the history of the world are beneath contempt!
It is one thing to work within the system to improve it; it is quite another to work to DESTROY the system through deliberate and intentional lies, deceit, law-breaking and other nefarious means!
