Heavenly Father,

As we come to the end of another year, we look back only with gratitude for the faithfulness You have shown us, and with heartfelt thankfulness for Your grace, mercy, and love. Your Word teaches us to forget the failures, the frustrations, and the mistakes we have made; and instead to stretch forward to what is ahead. Lord, we know that the greatest force of the present and the future is You, and we look forward with confidence to all that lies ahead in the New Year. Thank You, Jesus, for the provision that has already been made for our needs and our growth because of Your finished work upon the Cross.

We come together across this nation today to pray to You, to magnify You, and to exalt Your Name. We are grateful for Your compassion and love, Father. Your eye is upon all those who fear You, upon those who hope in Your mercy.

Lord, we rejoice in the good things that are happening in America and the boldness You have given to President Trump. In spite of all the assaults against his Presidency and his character, we are grateful for the shelter You have placed around him. Thank You for the many ways You have given him strength, endurance, direction, wisdom, discernment, protection, and grace. We ask You to help us to be filled with gratitude for each of our military men and women. Redeem their souls, Lord, and let none of them that trust in You be desolate. Father, for those who do not know You, may there be new opportunities for them to hear the truth, to love You and accept You as their Lord. Guard their hearts from the evil one who seeks their destruction, and lead them to the living waters of Your Spirit.

Lord, may Your people Israel be blessed beyond measure. May You be their hiding place and keep them from trouble. Compass them about with songs of deliverance.

We pray for laborers for the harvest that awaits in every part of the world. Call Your people, Lord, and send them forth. Show each of us what You would have us to do for Your glory.

Help us always to be glad in You Lord, and to rejoice in You. Let Your mercy be upon us, as we hope in You. And now, let us enter the New Year of our Lord with confidence in Your promises. Great is Your faithfulness. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
