Evil begets evil. Forgiveness is the only out. Cant do Gods job.
Jesus had a definite opinion on this topic.
“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
Matthew 18:6
Good thing they did not correctly say it was a homosexual that was killed, that would be a hate crime!!
Administrative duties.
“So the kid is just 19? And the priest was 91? And not been a priest for decades?
I can’t see how the kid was sexually abused.”

It is odd - if it’s “decades” that would entail at least 20 years, which doesn’t add up if those numbers are correct.
Thats right out of a horror film.
Vigilante justice happens when there is no reasonable justice in a society.
I do not blame him although Id not have used a crucifix. He may have kept many other little boys from torment.
That might do it!
Down his throat was better than the other option...I guess
Just probably a robbery and everything else is convenient cover
Small wonder that shariah law is being promoted.
Considering how the Catholic church has coveed for the (alleged) behavior of some priests.
BTW WTF - the religious institution that is most highly associated with the pro-life movement is also embroiled in rampant pedophilia.?
It is a very poorly written piece, for sure. Such awful writing. We shouldn’t have to work this hard to comprehend the story line.
The way I read it is the murderer Alexandre was working as a housekeeper for this priest and was molested by him. Alexandre’s father Stephane was also molested by this same priest. When Stephane’s father learned of the molestation of Stephane, Stephane’s father killed himself.
Seems strange that Stephane would allow the boy to go to work for the priest.
You might want to re read the following.......
Matassoli was removed from his duties a decade ago
Hope that clarifies things for you..........
The crucifix may have played a significant role in the abuse. I wonder what the priests last thoughts were.

Having been serve a final meal, Matassoli will not be down for breakfast.
Matasolli only removed from acting as a priest 10 years ago. What I dont understand is the abused father letting his son anywhere near the priest.
