Our guys have abandoned California, and now we complain about not being able to win there.

It wasn't the conservatives who abandoned CA. It was CA who abandoned freedom loving conservatives. I did not change. The state did.

And instead of complaining, I broke free of their punitive stranglehold and left after it became inordinately clear I was way outnumbered and the state was simply not salvageable. The good old days of CA are unfortunately long over.

And all those hundreds of thousands leaving high school every year in CA? After 12 years to total leftist indoctrination, they become voters? Compound that as the state opens their arms to millions of illegal servants? Trump could have won California 45 or so years ago. Now? Ferrrgetabout it.

"Why do we have such a lopsided situation in the state"

And NY, CT, MA etc etc. Fight for them all, but as a beach-head and symbol? CA definitely. I'd do one left and one east coast. I'd target MA personally. The level of moonbatism is out of control, go in like you are a Spartan Warrior (Team Trump Politically) and show the decent people of MA you have a chance. We love him because he fights, he fights in either State or both, my guess is many "Alpha's" will want to run and hunt with him....

Make them fight for it - it’ll cost them $$$ that can’t be used elsewhere.

If President Trump campaigns hard in California that even if he doesn’t win he will still get more Republican congressmen elected and shift the state towards patriotism. California cannot and just not be abandoned.

...Every vote matters. Even if you don’t win the State...

The electoral college system makes this not true.

I could easily see fighting for some House districts where were got snookered by ballot harvesting last time, but Rs in general and DJT in particular are far better off to concentrate their efforts in areas where we can get electoral college votes.

POTUS might win CA if Buttgiggity is the Rat nominee and loses 40% of the Black vote.

Trump did show up in CA, and it was met with riots, people being attacked/assaulted and Trump himself at one point was forced to leave his motorcade, jumping out of his limo on the freeway of all places, and was then forced to make his way to the venue by jumping over barriers moving through alleys etc..The optics as they say, looked real bad.

Here is a small example of the last time Trump campaigned in CA.

I grew up in New York when it had two Republican Senators and a Republican governor. My Congressman was a Republican, and my county government was solidly Republican. The mayor of New York City was a Republican.

I don’t know about California, but although I now live in the woods close to Canada in NH, I know NY very well.

The whole place has been taken over by a species of mass insanity. People are not just FOR Democrats, they think attacking Republicans physically in the street is perfectly reasonable. They will no more listen to Republican arguments or positions than they would drink poison.

This has gone quite far beyond “politics”. This is war where the shooting just hasn’t broken out yet.

And I have no idea what to do about it.

Trump is not going to win Cali BUT remember Hillary’s margin in 2016 was 61-31. He carves that down to 56-44 or thereabouts there goes the “muh popular vote”

BTW how come people don’t talk about Operation Chaos 2020 here? Changed my registration and am all fired up to vote in Demo primary

The electoral votes of CA might be out of reach, but the repubs ought to be making a play for every congressional district that doesn’t touch the ocean.

Without regaining some of the CA seats Republicans lost in 2018, it's unlikely Republicans flip the House. Without the House, Trumps agenda will continue to be blocked. He needs to come to CA to fire up the voters and get them motivated, even if it only helps down ticket candidates.

I think one or two rallies held in CA would energize the Conservative vote there. No, I doubt that he’d win the state, but I suspect some of the down ticket people might be dragged over the line, aiding him in the House.

I Tweeted him a couple of times on that thought even though his own staff are probably on top of that as well. Still, a little nudge . . .

In my fifty years in California, I can honestly say the Left fought tooth and nail to make the gains they’ve made. They instituted a program of infiltration. They took over schools, universities, the media, and even local city councils.

Here is a list of the top five things the Republicans did to stop them.

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Our leadership simply surrendered the state.

Yes, it was the republican party that abandoned California.

You just didn’t realize why things were going farther and farther Leftist.

It certainly gives those on the Right cover to talk up Conservative issues with authority when he comes in with his now growing record.

I don’t think he’s lost a single vote that he had so I would love to see him spend the entire campaign in California pointing out the Democrat crap holes, literally, with sidewalks filled with feces

They could pull that kind of crap with Candidate Trump when he was a private citizen but I doubt that that level of violence will be tolerated by President Trump.

Given the current declining conditions and number of residents moving out of the state, isn’t possible?
