I would add (to what you have beautifully said) that the Bible and the Constitution are very much alive the way that God is alive. In fact, they are more alive than we humans are.

His and their principles/values/morals (Righteousness) are immutable and eternal, but they are very much alive in that they can be applied to everything eternally. In fact, as we know, humans and the things they create which are not conformed to God's Righteousness die...so as God says, He is the only Way to real life--eternal life.

Also, as you said, the Constitution is written by man but inspired by God. Therefore it can and should be amended where we find that man has erred in conforming it perfectly to God and His Word.

One final note.

The Bible is also alive in that God speaks to us through it literally. He seems to inspire us as we read His Word...like the Bible is a living Transmitter of His Righteousness and Love.
