Lincoln Park here. My best friend growing up Dave RIP Freeman and his 2 bros went to Grosse IIe to live with their divorced dad after mom died. They are all gone now. Sad.
We lived on Meridian twice and on Voigt.
Built a house on the water north of Bridge Rd. Conyers personally got involved in blocking our dock permit because the EPA blocked one of his buddy’s manufacturing structures dumping sewage into the Detroit River.
He decided to take it out on “rich whites” Downriver to get his way for his AA donor.
This was all back in 1990s. When property values were still high. We moved to Sweden in 2000 and got away from Detroit metro for good.
