Agreed. Also, though I am pro-life, the same argument could be said for every possible person who could have come into life if we all were procreating every day to the best of our abilities.

A simple truth also is that many who were aborted, had they not been, would not have been followed on by children who were brought to term.

Too many hypotheticals to sling around!

A simple truth also is that many who were aborted, had they not been, would not have been followed on by children who were brought to term.

For a number of reasons, post-abortive women have fewer children than non-abortive women. Abortion causes psychological issues that make them less likely to want children. Abortion causes physical issues which makes them less able to have children. The most common outcomes are pregnancy loss and premature births. A rarer outcome is inability to become pregnant.

Although I sorrow for every child slaughtered in an abortion, I do recognize that those whose maternal instincts are so weak that they can kill their own children are eliminating their genes from the gene pool. I think it is elimination of certain genes (related to weak maternal instincts) that has led to the ongoing drastic drop in abortion numbers that we have seen since abortion was legalized.
