It's simple to post an image. Here's the code with comments. Simply copy the code shown and adapt it to your use.

HTML to post an image:

<img width=500 src=http://website.com/myimage.jpg>

• "src" is shorthand for "source".
  
• the "width" attribute is not necessary, but you use it to control the size of the image.

 

HTML to post an image that is also linked to a website:

<a href=http://mywebsite/mypage.htm><!-- wrapper top -->
<img width=500 src=http://website.com/myimage.jpg><!-- image -->
</a><!-- wrapper bottom -->

• The "a" is short for "anchor".
  
• "href" is the "html reference" or link address.
  
• And the code is closed by an "</a>" to mark the end of the link.
  
• I like the idea of putting the code on three lines because you can visually see how the image is "wrapped" around by the href link.  So it's the top anchor, image, and anchor close.

 

The best educational tool for you is the w3schools.com website because it features sandboxes for you to play around with code.  I used their code for my website: freeper.org.

Thanks for the html refresher, What I was trying to do was to get the entire "Tweet" image and text, I should have noted that up front. This still illudes me. Maybe the img width then source would do it, I have tried both a href & img src and couldn't get the entire Tweet. The end with an /a and wrapper are either totally new or I forgot them eons ago. Thanks again!
