AN updated Mexico Danger Map prompted US government officials to warn travelers about "widespread" crime, as murders, kidnappings, carjackings and robberies continue to rise.
The stark warning was issued this week by the US State Department who urged Americans to avoid traveling to certain Mexican states where violent crime is rife.

But countrywide, travelers are advised to exercise increased caution" - even at popular party spots like Los Cabos, Cancun and Cozumel.
where’s the “do not travel” list for the US?
The corrupt, boiling caldron of crap is erupting on our Southern border as our military patrols Afghanistan and protects the Kurds in Syria. Our foreign policy is bass ackwards.
Trump should have deployed the U.S. military to our borders on Day One of his administration.
I have a Mexican co-worker who thinks that Trump was right to designate the cartels as terrorist organizations.

I agree 100%. Many of us who voted for him expected that kind of action. And at that time (2017) bother the House and the Senate were in GOP hands. So any push-back would have been minimal. There was no Speaker Pelosi to whine and withhold funding.
I can't,for the life of me,understand why anyone from the First World would travel to Mexico or any country to its south.
They do exist. Some foreign governments have marked gun-friendly states as "extreme caution" travel locations, which I find funny living in Florida where Disney is one of the most anti-gun islands in the state.
Does Disney World have a “no guns” policy? If so,is Florida one of the states where state law says that one needn’t obey such signs/policies?
Well,there’s DiBlasio’s New York City...
A friend of mine vacations at a fancy beach resort in the Dominican Republic. He goes there every year. When I asked him about safety concerns, he said he has no worries. The entire resort is surrounded by barbed wire.
I should have asked him why he thought there was barbed wire in the first place.
I think we oughta invade Mehico and pacify the country. That’s after all of the cartel locations are obliterated. Which is basically the whole country. But this is my opinion. I’m just feeling the Christmas cheer.
then we take the oil?
A few years ago we were in South Africa to visit several national parks. We used an affluent suburb of Johannesburg as our "base" because the parks we visited were in various parts of the country. In this suburb (called Sandton..it's written up on Wikipedia) everywhere you look there are fences with barbed wire, huge walls and gates...and security guards.
Every building you see...private home or business establishment (that suburb is the corporate headquarters of one of the country's biggest banks) have signs at the front saying something like "Protected By XYZ Security,Armed Response".
I wonder if your friend would be able to answer your question...
Disney is very anti-gun. Florida has preemption, but private entities are within their rights to prohibit firearms on their property. The amount of “security” you have have to go through to just get into a Disney park makes it very difficult to get a gun in, and if they catch you trying, I’ve heard anecdotal evidence of permanent bans on all Disney properties.
However,I'm not a lawyer and know almost nothing about firearms laws so...
And all the tacos and burritos you can eat. You gotta hand it to the Mexicans. Their food is delicious.
Spain is pretty much okay for the most part.
It seems California will become worse than Mexico, it will be Cartelfornia
Maybe the feds should add California to the list
I hear Qfever epidemic could come to the feces infested SanFran
