I hope his family doesn't die of old age waiting for his sentence to be completed.

The former FBI analyst — Mark Tolson, 60, — pleaded guilty in a federal court in Alexandria, Va., in September to a misdemeanor charge of computer fraud and abuse, according to Politico.

Tolson said, with help from his wife Sarah Gilbert Fox, he accessed an email account belonging to GOP lobbyist Jack Burkman, photographed "emails of interest," and tried to hand them over both to the FBI and the press, The Washington Post reported. Fox had worked for Burkman from October 2017 to summer 2018 and had his email password, authorities said. She was not charged.

Sounds like the wife was just as guilty. I wonder why she wasn't charged?

Was he fired?

Is his jail time “with pay?”

A former FBI analyst was sentenced to seven days in jail

A slap on the wrist unless he knows something and suffers from "Epstein level depression". In that case seven days could be a death sentence.

A lot can happen in seven days. Where is Epstein’s former cellmate now?

Using his wife’s job working for the lobbyist, too. I wonder if she is facing possible court problems for breach of contract for giving away her employer’s password?

I wonder why the FBI guy’s wife would even hire on to this lobbyist’s company in Oct 2017, long after this lobbyist became a pariah for non PC comments about certain LGBT celebs? My guess is they didn’t decide to spy on him AFTER she left his employment as the agent claims but rather the wife sought to get hired for this purpose - or for the purpose of using him in the Obama admin’s ‘nudge’ program to manipulate public discource in the first place. Question is, did they do it for the FBI with its blessing or were they working for the Democrats?

Yes: Ex-Marine admits he lured Seth Rich conspiracy theorist Jack Burkman to a hotel parking garage, then shot him. [https://beta.washingtonpost.com/local/public-safety/disgruntled-ex-employee-of-conspiracy-theorist-admits-shooting-him/2018/12/03/e5df4478-f719-11e8-8c9a-860ce2a8148f_story.html] Burkman initially claimed [https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4264558/GOP-lobbyist-claims-Russia-murder-Seth-Rich.html] a former U.S. intelligence officer had told him Russia arranged Seth Rich’s murder: Burkman said he’s been contacted about the investigation by a former U.S. intelligence officer with knowledge of the murder. In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Burkman claims Rich was killed after discovering Russians hacked the DNC. . .While Burkman is reluctant to elaborate, he revealed he was recently contacted about the investigation by a man claiming to be a former U.S. intelligence officer. The source is an older man, 65-70 years old, who claims to have been a contractor in Iraq in the 1970s, he revealed. ‘The source has claimed that it [the murder] was arranged by the Russian government at a very high level,’ Burkman said.’He didn’t specify who or how. He just said he had knowledge it was arranged by the Russian government and stressed that it was at a high level.’ He added: ‘I’ve met this person and he seems very credible. We’re now investigating the allegations he has made.’ Burkman believes the source will cooperate with the investigation. He is wary about revealing too much and has hired a private security firm to protect his family. ‘These days we all know what the Russian government is like and because I’m concerned with my safety and my family’s safety, I have to be careful about what I put on the record,’ he said. Burkman believes that Rich was killed after discovering Russian operatives had hacked the DNC through his work on a ‘highly important voter registration program’. . . He has been a frequent collaborator [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Burkman] with Jacob Wohl of Gateway Pundit.
