The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court (FISA) that approved FBI surveillance of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page is now investigating other applications it's received from one of the agency's attorneys accused of making an inappropriate change to the Page application.

In the order, written on Dec. 5 and declassified Friday, the court requested that the executive branch identify "all other matters currently or previously before this Court" that involved FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith.

I don't think most judges appreciate being lied to.

I don't think most judges appreciate being lied to.

Some of them have no problem telling their own lies.

Mark Levin: It's time for FISA court judges to face scrutiny Mar 1, 2018 - Youtube 10:20

Levin presented Judge Collyer with a legal filing about taking action on the fraud presented to her court. She responded with lies.

Before this is over, we might see many if not most FBI cases reversed or thrown out due to Tainted Fruit due to the dishonest FBI. (think about Richard Jewell)

The fruit of the poisonous tree doctrine prevents the prosecution from admitting certain evidence into a criminal case after it has been tainted by a primary illegality. This doctrine is meant to remove illegally-acquired evidence from negatively impacting a criminal defendant.

Much info, including the fact that the dossier had not been verified and had been funded by the DNC and Clinton campaing had been kept from the court and they didn't give a single F***. They only began to "care" when it became a big embarassing headline that even the MSM couldn't hide. And then the reaction was a letter that said in essence "I'm deeply saddened and you'd better never do it again, gosh darnit!"

In other words, they don't care and they're not going to change. This is just kabuki theater. Once again, nobody will be sanctioned in any way, especially not being charged and prosecuted.

“I don’t think most judges appreciate being lied to.”

It depends who’s doing the lying. If the judge hates Trump, and the lying helps to advance ‘the Resistance’, then no, they have no problem with being lied to.

Look at the media, they were ‘lied to’ by their ‘sources’ for 3 years regarding ‘collusion’ and made fools of themselves by pushing it, and when they finally learned that fact 8 months ago, were they bothered, at all? Nope.

That is a question of perspective that depends on which party you support. Same outcome regardless; nil.

Just heard Fitton say that not one hearing was held on the bogus warrants. Yep, pencil whipped and rubber stamped. Now I’m wondering if a bribe wasn’t chucked in there. Why not?

“Just heard Fitton say that not one hearing was held on the bogus warrants.”

Right. That was brought up on Fox (Hannity, I think) last night. Nunes had sent two letters to FISA — in 2018, I believe — clearly showing how FISA had been lied to by the FBI. Kim Strassel said they ignored them because they didn’t want to be bothered. I believe it was because they already know it and were in on it.
