Yes, keep the Senate in session, no Christmas break. Then, make sure they are fully recessed so that President Trump can make recess appointments for all open positions throughout the government.

...and President Trump should ask for the resignation letters of all appointees throughout the government, use the opportunity to sift through and get rid of all Obama leftovers and Deep Staters. Start 2020 with a clean house.

Totally agree. Do not give this impeachment charade the respect of a trial. Just vote to acquit then verbally censure the House of Representatives from the well of the Senate.

If McConnell cared to support POTUS he would have spent the last 3 months gathering facts and impeaching the coupists in the GOP controlled Senate. Instead he has done nothing. Obviously, he defacto supports the ongoing coup raging inside the executive branch.
