While I strongly disagree with Nadler’s politics, and despise his (utter lack of) ethics, I do hope that his wife recovers from whatever it is that ails her (if, indeed, she is actually ill - given his utter lack of ethics, this could be an excuse to not show up).
We’re better than the Left - we just want to defeat our political enemies so that we can be left alone, we don’t wish to rule them or destroy them as people. It is easy to make fun of this guy, or to hate on him, but that’s not who we’re supposed to be when someone’s health is at issue, especially not a family member of an opponent. C’mon, people!

Besides, if the Dems get trounced because of the Leftist nonsense, a lot of them will get purged from the Dem Party. Either that, or the Leftists will take over, and the Dems will go the way of the Whigs.
You act like them, and you will never make that kind of progress. I would agree that if they ignited a civil war (via an attempted gun confiscation, for example), THEN we go at them with everything we’ve got. But we’re not there yet, and don’t need to go there yet (and you do NOT want to go there - look at every civil war in the last several decades, and then imagine one of them here, with 500 million+ firearms).
