Okay guys....allow me to rant over that jerk who patted the reporter’s behind while she was reporting on a marathon.
Perfect...PERFECT I SAY, example of some men who think touching female private parts is their entitlement.
Mostly powerful men adopt this type of behavior.
HER reaction is just how most women react because, like I said, DO THEY THNK WE WAIT AROUND WAITING FOR THEM TO TOUCH OUR PRIVATE PARTS THAT WE MAY FAINT FROM THE JOY AND GLORY OF IT?
And, as I said, I’ve had plenty of men touch me inappropriately and today we have the “me too” movement because the world ought to be made aware of rude and crude males who think this is their right.
Like I say, had the VP of the union put BOTH hands on my butt. Also had my direct supervisor put his hands on my thigh when I worked in an office with him.
Finally, this is the most horrible of all, my very own father-in-law dropped me off at the house I shared with his son. The son was working late so father-in-law pulled into the driveway and just as I was about to exit the vehicle he slid his left hand all the hell the way up my skirt.
I couldn’t yell or slap his hand because, well he was my father-in-law.
I am not a liberal. Nowhere near.
But I am big with this “me too” movement. I never told anybody about these unwanted touches because at the time I was too ashamed.
And no I wasn’t so beautiful that men could not resist. In fact I was one of the fattest and ugliest females on this planet that Laz would not touch.
But I saw that guy slap that reporter on the butt, humiliating her on TV.....and I’m glad he got all the publicity about it.
The only way to stop this sort of thing with men is to display publicly.
If a gay guy slapped my butt running past me while I was reporting on something, I’d think he was a jerk. Then I’d forget it. I wouldn’t press charges and act as if my life had ended. “Oh no, he’s robbed me of my mojo!”
Boys will be Boys, Life goes on. And do not forget the Wolf whistles as construction sites in New York city.
That is why we have TWO genders, and I like it that way.
