a good SCOTUS decision coincident with a bunch of Durham indictments this coming summer would tie up his 1st term with a neat little bow

I keep reminding my liberal friends that someday there will be another Democrat President (though hopefully not in my lifetime). If the Dems win this fight, what will keep every district attorney in every Republican controlled county in the U.S. from subpoenaing years of tax and accounting records for the next Democrat President?

The only response I have gotten so far is, “Democrat good! Orange man bad!!!”

Pretty good indication Trump is going to win.

Dershowitz says it’s significant, because it is the basis for the House’s charge of obstruction of Congress.

They aren’t “broad” claims.

They are NORMAL claims. This is based on Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s accepting of a stay. If even Ginsberg realized that a stay is necessary, then there’s nothing “broad” in Trump’s request at all.

President’s have been resisting congressional subpoena’s my entire life and it was never an issue until Trump. There was grousing, but no one ever said that a president doesn’t have the right to do so UNTIL NOW.

I hope that they will find that just because he is The President doesn’t mean he loses his protections from unlawful search and seizure.

If the USSC says president records are open, watch out Obama.

He should negotiate a contract with those that want to see his returns, that they must disclose both their income from all sources, as well as what they paid in taxes.

They’ll drop that quick.
