Judicial Watch Statement on Articles of Impeachment Vote
Judicial Watch ^ | December 13, 2019 | Tom Fitton

Posted on 12/13/2019 1:01:44 PM PST by jazusamo

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement regarding today’s Judiciary Committee vote on the articles of impeachment:

Today’s vote on the articles of impeachment was both a tragedy and a farce. Truly, it is a sad day for America because a grave injustice was committed. There is no abuse of power by President Trump, however, it is clear that abuses were committed against him by the DOJ, the State Department, the FISA court, and certainly by Democrats in the House.

This impeachment scam was corruptly formed and is being corruptly pursued. A coup cabal has hijacked the House to violate the rights of President Trump and undermine our constitutional republic. It is not too late to “stop the coup.” Americans should call their members of Congress to share their views on this wild attack on self-government.

I call it Sedition and I think every one of them should be punished. It's part of draining the swamp.

The one thing I really like about JW is they keep their remarks clear, to the point, and not too long. Something a lot of conservative commentators should take note of. Doesn’t help to bloviate for endless paragraphs. The choir might read it, but the middle of the country won’t.

I think it’s wonderful that the younger Democrat politicians are willing to sacrifice their futures to try to coverup the crimes of the old thieving Democrat leaders.

Hard times make for hard choices. Party discipline.

More seriously, many politicians pick their party not on ideology, but on opportunity. If you're in a super-liberal district, there's not much point in dabbling in politics as a GOP candidate.

Americans should have anticipated how far the Democrats were willing to go after witnessing the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, and that was for a swing seat on SCOTUS. We're now seeing the debasement of the impeachment process because Democrats fear losing an election.

We've seen the Democrats use the IRS to block opposition grassroots groups from forming, use our intelligence apparatus to spy on opposition campaigns, use foreign countries to make up false stories about opposition campaigns and use agents to entrap opposition campaign members, use the FBI to entrap decorated military leaders, falsify warrants, alter evidence, and use state prosecutors to imprison opposition campaign supporters. There appears to be no limits to how far Democrats would go to try to protect their recent gains.

I just think that it’s so nice of the younger Democrat politicians to go and “jump on the grenades” to try to coverup the crimes of the old criminal Democrat leaders.

All those younger Democrat politicians standing around with their guts on the floor.

I’m sure that Soros and the Clintons will send them some lovely flowers while they are eating caviar they bought with stolen US Taxpayer money.

“the RATs have shown they’ll stop at nothing for their lust to rule.”

Also well said.

They cannot lose or be wrong. Ever. Under any circumstance. They have a delusional mental illness called megalomania.

Nadler chairing this travesty was personal. The feud between him and Trump over real estate has been strong since the mid-’80s. Jerry never should have been in control of anything involving Trump.

Google these words: “feud nadler trump”. It’s interesting and a shame that Nadler wasn’t forced to recuse.
