Yeah. Alabama has that plan on permanent file, to be passed if the feds ever implement an onerous ban.

I agree with Z.
Both need to feel the pain from the error of their poor decisions.

Interesting times. Even I’m a little taken aback that it looks like it might kick off in Virginia, like in EFAD.

Richmond to counties...”We’ll cut off your monies”

Counties to Richmond and NOVA: “We’ll cut your power lines! Disrupt I64 and I95 and rip up train tracks...how far do you want to take this?”

Sanctuaries for illegal aliens are not OK. Squatting is not a Constitutional right. The RKBA, on the other hand, is a God-given right.

The Dems revealing themselves before 2020 is wonderful.

Then if you must engage them, do it on your own terms. Ambush and snipe at them.

Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill say local police who do not enforce gun control measures likely to pass in Virginia should face prosecution and even threats of the National Guard.

And from there, they'll put the cops in special camps with gas chambers and crematory ovens.

I wonder how many Americans they're willing to kill to achieve their gun control goals. I know how many of them I'm willing to take with me to stop them.

Up here in MN, we’re finishing up our hunting season.

That’s a couple million people with at least some ammo, at least one rifle zeroed in to minute of deer, etc...

I can’t imagine any kind of shooting civil war lasting very long.

Well, chasing headlines i an author’s enemy, but you wrote the books in the right frame of time and mind since this is all happening.

In some cases, Guard members are “deputized” and given limited law enforcement authority.
_______________________
There would have to be a law enforcement entity to do the deputizing. Since your example was a Federal mission, perhaps the U.S. Marshalls did the deputizing. With regard to the Virginia state brouhaha, I know the President would never approve any LE entity in the Executive Branch to deputize the Guard.

Doesn’t the Constitution beat state law? (I know in practice, it doesn’t, but how about in theory?)

Sure, but I would also like to understand, be prepared, and so when I am wrong there are no surprises.

Nobody lives forever. Uncounted millions of the heroes of Western Civ died not knowing who would win the long war.

Still, they fought.

“...It is time to end the Democrat tyranny by eliminating the tyrants...”
Actually, it’s vile, domestic communism at its finest.
They ALL should be hanged from interstate signs and left there for the birds to pick at and let the sun bleach their bones white....they don’t even deserve a decent human burial.
About all the rotten, evil SOBs deserve is hell.
