Being drawn and quartered and then having your intestines pulled out and burned while still alive was practiced in England and elsewhere. That and other “cruel and unusual” punishments were not all that effective. Meanwhile, since my late father was living in Jersey City and renting to marginal people, I will follow this story with interest.
I’ll leave it for others to come to their own conclusions.
I’ve expressed my thoughts on it.
It’s a fitting punishment if it deters no one.
