As Twitchy reported earlier, former CIA director John Brennan sent out another self-sanctimonious tweet about “how far we have fallen” by electing President Trump, who is inflicting tragic damage to our national conscience and our government by not being Hillary Clinton.
We’re guessing Brennan was responding to Monday’s impeachment hearings before the House Judiciary Committee and not the release of the inspector general’s report, which showed, according to NBC News’ Pete Williams, that the FBI “screwed up at every level” — at best. That’s not a good look for America’s intelligence community.
In any case, we included the following tweet in that post, but the response to CIA alumnus Mark Augustine has been tremendous. In case you missed it, here’s what he had to say to Brennan.
Call me when John Brennan is on TV, on a high platform, with a rope around his neck, and the treason charges are being read against him.
Until then, I’ll be over here napping.

That’s a great thread. Unfortunately, public opposition to the coup among rank-and-file members of the FBI and CIA has been rare.

Was it realistic to believe that Horowicz would not cover up the crimes of the FBI/CIA/DOJ? I mean any “investigator” that doesn’t believe anything improper happened in the Hillary email fiasco, really should never have been given the chance to investigate further. Also, it would seem that the release of the IG’s report, during a criminal investigation of the same facts, really is obstructing justice.

I was under cover my entire career, never sought or wanted publicity — quite the opposite. Then came Benghazi, the Iran cash scandal, Hillary emails and now the Russia and Ukraine hoaxes. Now I speak up and speak out.

As a former FBI and congressional undercover CI, I support Mark Augustine.
By right of proxy and friendship, I am sure that I can speak for fellow undercover operatives, the late Herbert “I Led Three Lives” Philbrick and Larry Grathwohl (Weather Underground) and add their names to the support Augustine cause.
All of us have dealt with traitors in our work. Brennan fits all the criteria for being one, plus being much more insane that some of the Communists/Soviet operatives I met.
Let’s have the hanging first, go out for pizza, and then come back with a full stomach and have a Democrat-style trial (”you’re guilty; no witnesses; go to jail or the wall, do not pass Go, do not collect $200 rubles”).
Next, we can hope that someone rings Clapper’s “bell” with a sledge-hammer.
Weissman, Rosenstein, Yates, McCabe, Baker, Comey, etc. - Go directly to jail. Do not collect your clothes. They will be provided in Leavenworth.

And same goes for FBI. They are using propaganda to modulate conservative anger, to keep the real heat off until 2020 or when Trump is removed from office (I suspect before 2020 election).
I think for most of us, if not damn near all of us, we just want equal justice.
Manafort goes to prison. The Podesta’s are allowed to backdate their FARA paperwork, amend their taxes and they’re still sleeping in their own beds.
Clinton’s get to amend their taxes, not because they made an accounting mistake, but because they willfully withheld information and didn’t report income on their returns. They still sleep in their own beds.
Gen Flynn, regardless of what he may have told VP Pence, was interviewed by some of the FBI Agents involved in the coup attempt, they reported that he didn’t lie and yet he was indicted and took a plea. What is going on now has no bearing on the fact that they went after an innocent man and he was compelled to take a plea.
I’m of the belief, and I’ve stated it more than once, that the President knows far more than he’ll ever let on. His former security guy was NYPD. The President is very well like in NYC. NYPD found all the stuff on Weiner’s laptop and then handed it over to the FBI. Is it a stretch to think that some thumb drives with of that information didn’t somehow make their way to the President?
People would probably be a little scared to know that most of our Intel agencies are absolutely filled with ideological Leftists who don’t see the US in the same way a flag waving patriot does. They’re not filled with Jack Bauer’s, that’s for sure. But, there are some that still love and support this country.
So here comes Mark Augustine. A stretch to think that the quiet, patriotic professional in any one of these agencies, is feeding information to the White House.
Adm Rogers shows up and drops dime on all of it. There’s no way of knowing what he told the President and/or what he may have provided and continues to provide.
I know my frustration is, if the President does have this info, how come he hasn’t used some of it to start putting these people in prison, where they belong?
Hillary Rotten Clinton was corrupt AF selling national security secrets to foreign entities. She was making millions in foreign cash via the Clinton slush fund.
