Our Admirals and Generals receive a lot of pay and benefits to win our wars.

Maybe we need to take a closer look at the military promotion process.

Are we giving stars to people who can win?

I recently read that they were going to start giving IQ tests to Officers for promotion.

About damn time.

Winning wars stopped being an objective in 1945.

Do you have a link for that IQ and Officer thing? Hadn’t heard that. You do have to have a minimum of 74 on the AFQT portion of the ASVAB. But the ASVAB is not an IQ test. I’d like to see a requirement of an IQ test score of 110 or better to be an officer. Though that would make it harder to fill the ranks and hurt the diversity effort. I served as both enlisted and officer and was very disappointed in what I saw in the officer corps.
