You only half disputed what I said, while calling it incorrect.

“They have concluded that it was proper and done correctly. They CONCLUDED he followed procedures.”

They concluded that it was done correctly, administratively - which is what I said. The impropriety is all over the report, though the IG declines to assign or assert cause for that.

If you think this IG report was done on the up and up-and that they didn’t try to use technical jargon to let the big guys look innocent-and they they didn’t give some meat to the GOP while providing cover for others - go right ahead.

I worked for the government (Military) for 32 years. I was called in as a special witness on accident investigations. My reports had to be completely honest and put blame where blame was due-REGARDLESS of who they were. If you can sit here and say this report does that TO EVERYONE-then good for you. If you can’t-then that’s a whitewash.

Because in the world I come from I was witness to reports where the blame didn’t go to the leadership who really screwed the pooch. Instead it was the middle rank field grades and senior NCOs that might get thrown under the bus.

That’s what this report is-and Comey (aka “Cor-ney”) out there flapping his gums is living proof of that.
