Good news, but one problem - 144,000 in May 2019 is possibly the highest number ever recorded.
Under Barack Obama, in May 2015, the number was just 40,000.

I do not believe that.
The ONLY people being “sent back” to Mexico or other countries are people who claim asylum at the border.
Since 95% of asylum claims are completely bogus, almost NO ONE is going to claim asylum at the border anymore.
From memory - we have just 55,000 beds for detainees.
In November 2019 we had 33,000 apprehensions at the border.
If those people are not getting Catch and Release, where are they going?
