NASP trains Naval Aviators... Naval Aviators that land on carriers at sea... WTF was a RSAF guy doing there , Last time I checked, Saudi didn’t have any carriers.
NASP also trains helicopter pilots, including SH-60 Seahawks and Saudi Arabia has at least 10 of them.
NASP has Ground School, and nearby Whiting Field has Primary Fixed Wing and Rotary Wing.
Thus, this guy may have been in Ground School (attended by future pilots, Naval Flight Officers, Flight Surgeons, and some others).
We also have ground Naval Air installations and aircraft. Like the poster above said, if we sell the aircraft, training goes with it. Although I would like to see our sales of arms reduced, the military complex needs to stay viable for our own defense.
Keep in mind, we don't include our most advanced avionics, and it's long known we have a back door into the systems we do sell. Plus, no one trains on our same equipment as much as we do. Think Russia.
