Bingo. Common sense recommendations were never carried out, from border security to Visa security to keeping out the Saudi threat. Nothing was really done to eliminate the threat.
The MSM will cover this up and instead cry that we need gun control. Actually we need to arm every American that has had an extended record of law abiding citizenship.

Except we allow folks like this in while regular Americans can’t survive or work in many cases. I gave up on a low-level clerk job after giving the gov’t (a copy of) my birth certificate, etc. No criminal offenses at all. Yet it just dragged on and on and on. I figured it was going nowhere after weeks and weeks. Everything got turned upside down after 9/11.
Those whose lives were changed significantly after 2008 know exactly what I’m talking about. I hear from a few of them, from time-to-time.
The nation elected a Muslim-educated individual named Barack HUSSEIN Obama in 2008, a mere 7 years after 9-11. As a nation we didn’t learn much even on that day, and what little was learned very quickly went down the memory hole.
