Trump’s supposed abuses pale in comparison to past presidents
NY Post ^ | December 05 2019 | David Harsanyi

Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee this week trotted out a trio of supposedly dispassionate legal experts to explain why the impeachment of President Trump was justified.

But however smart scholars such as Michael Gerhardt, distinguished professor of constitutional law at University of North Carolina, might be, they aren’t above peddling partisan absurdities. Once Gerhardt argued that Trump’s behavior was “worse than the misconduct of any prior president,” we no longer had any obligation to take him seriously on the topic.

History began before 2016, and there are at least a dozen instances of presidential misconduct that are both morally and constitutionally “worse” than Trump’s blundering attempt to launch a self-serving Ukrainian investigation into his rival’s shady son.

As arrogant as Johnson was, you just KNOW he was impeachable but was covered by his Dem buds on the Hill. Oh, I guess having your boss snuffed didn’t count!
You can read the entire sordid story of this “man” at the link.  If, however, you’re short on time, below are some of the “earthier” FACTS about this creature that was once POTUS.
Please pass this along to any of the ladies you know who refused to support Donald Trump’s due to what they saw as vulgar language and behavior.  LBJ could have given Trump lessons in that area.
LANGUAGE WARNING: THE “F” word (and the act itself) and others were LBJ’s normal speech pattern.
The most DERANGED president ever: DONALD TRUMP or LYNDON JOHNSON?

Trump is accused of asking Ukraine to investigate a Democrat’s corrupt son.

Like that’s a bad thing. Yes, just asking a question gets you iimpeached.

Which when all is said and done, it still doesn’t rise to the level of of an impeachable offense.

I think he actually asked if he could look and see if they had any information about it.

Asking for help from another foreign country isnt an impeachable offense.

Do you know how much info we get from the uk listening posts on our transatlantic communications, and vice versa?

Talking on the phone with a foreign leader is not abuse. Even if he did everything the Democraps said he did, it’s not abuse. But they have no evidence that he did anything which they claim.

I read “A Texan Looks At Lyndon” years ago. People credit Alinsky for the ‘rat strategy but LBJ wrote the playbook. He was so crooked they didn’t bury him. They just screwed him in the ground.
