Polish politician Donald Tusk on Thursday tweeted a photo of him pointing a pair of fingers toward President Trumps back, a gesture some alarmed Twitter users likened to a gun.
Despite seasonal turbulences our transatlantic friendship must last #Trump #NATO, wrote Tusk, whose term as president of the European Council ended at the start of this month. The friendly caption was offset by a photo of Tusk pointing his right index and middle fingers toward Trump, who had his back to the camera.
The move by Tusk the former prime minister of Poland and a frequent critic of Trump concerned some on social media, who felt that it had a menacing undertone.
[Outgoing] European Union Council Leader Donald Tusk tweets himself holding 2 fingers against Trumps back like a GUN, tweeted user @justathoughtUSA. Is that a THREAT? We all know that the Globalist EU opposes Trump, but this goes too far, continued the tweet, which tagged Trump and the FBI. what a disgusting gesture of @donaldtusk, wrote user @Makaisia. this moron has no manners!!! Is this some sort of veiled EU threat aimed at the US? asked a third user, @Dispropoganda...
Last month, Tusk was elected president of the European Peoples Party a conservative political party committed to strengthening the EU. Tusk could not be immediately reached for comment. The two Dons have had a fraught relationship. In his final speech to the UN General Assembly in New York this September, Tusk took a sharp dig at Trump, calling his views on patriotism false and dangerous. To protect the truth, it is not enough to accuse others of promoting fake news, he said, as reported by Politico. Frankly speaking, it would be enough to stop lying....

Where’s the Secret Service ?
I already have a thread going on this but different source. I have yet to see anything that justifies posting this phot by this jerk. What possible innocent reason can there be...there isn’t one.
Doubtful the Poles are very supportive of Trump if this guy was German maybe.
Might get kicked out of school.
It’s how they feel about America.
Stupid question.
If a civilian made that kind of gesture to the POTUS maybe 10 feet away in a crowd, is there anything illegal about it?
Horrifying yes. Just wondering if there’s an illegality about it.
I think the person might be investigated. I guess.
I don’t know :)
Cut all aid to Poland.
The Europeans are moochers. They want the USA to cover their excessive expenditures. POTUS says “no!” Like your Dad used to say, Trump says, “money doesn’t grow on trees. Stop the waste and pay your bills.” Of course they are not happy. They are like a welfare state. They want their freebies.
Meh. Gun gesture in someones mind maybe - just another example of media-generated hysteria.
Could have as easily been tapping him on the back to get Trump’s attention. But in other news I saw an image of Putin riding a bear in the clouds the other day...
is that Merkel in the green? We need a comment as to whether that was a secret racist ‘ok’ hand sign to her.
Yes, Merkel.
I’ve read he (the finger gunman) tweeted this picture himself!:/
Gee, I wonder why he didn’t do this to Trump while he facing him? Eunuch? 14 year old boy “showing off” for his malevolent “friends”?
This was not some random picture. It was posted by Trusk who is a critic of Trump.
So explain to me why this pic was so significant that the Polish guy tweets it in an official account and retweets it in a personal account.
CLEARLY, this is all about what he is doing to Trump’s back. So if it is innocent as you claim...why pick that photo of the 1000s he could have picked from the various years.
That photo is not from this year.
I don’t understand why bob keeps posting that....it’s like he never bothered to read either article.
Nope. It’s a European way of trying to get someone’s attention from behind. Nothing nefarious about it except the media nuts of course. If it was a gun gesture it’d been done with one finger but leaders are not that crass only the MSM.
That’s literally an ACT OF WAR.
Agreed.
