As I said on another thread, normally one doesn’t call another a damn liar without receiving a fat lip as a result. Especially if that person is within reach.
Having grown up in Iowa/Wisconsin/Illinois, you learn pretty quick that if you call someone a "damn liar", you' d better have a big smile on your face or a real desire to get at it.

Way, way back, when someone pressed Joe about his getting booted from school over his plagiarism, he attacked the reporter by claiming intellectual superiority. He has done this before.
I think that wasn’t done deliberately. Over time most FReepers will have an accidental double or triple posting, especially with graphics because it takes time to load, and perhaps a double-click accidentally due to, well, a heavy finger on the mouse.
It happens..so I give the guy some slack.
