I know they’re different. My point in citing the HK bill is Congress did act EVEN IF it was unrelated to persecuted Muslims.

Interesting.

I’ve been waiting 20 years for an administration to stand up to the Chinese Communists.

The latter bill actually goes against the Chinese Communists themselves.

The Hong Kong bill interestingly hurts Hong Kong the most.

It wasn’t until this wave of news articles about Uighur persecution that such a bill took place. When persecution of Christians, Buddhists, free speech advocates, democracy advocates etc... has been going on forever.

Why just when it’s Muslim persecution?

Look back longer. Persecution of Chinese people was 100 times worse when Nixon and Kissinger “opened” China.

I saw post 5. There is no such thing as a good mudslime.

The queeranus gives them two choices. One go mohomicidal. Two support the ones that are monomicidal.

Even if they are actually deep down good people, they are forced by threat of death to participate in mad moe's mutilation misogyny and mayhem.

The sooner isLame is eradicated the better, and it's gonna take some real rough treatment to do so!

Depends, to me, on what ‘detain’ consists of.

Well, I guess we have to respectfully disagree with each other here my friend.

I work at an International Company and deal with Muslims everyday. Your statement above is too general, like saying there is no such thing as a good Christian.

RE: Depends, to me, on what ‘detain’ consists of.

China calls them “Re-education Camps”.

Well, China contends that its state-mandated detention camps, surrounded by high walls and watchtowers, are central to its fight against Islamist extremism. Beijing has also called them boarding schools, explaining detainees are there voluntarily.

However, there have been former detainees who have escaped from these camps.

One such escapee is Sayragul Sauytbay, a woman.

She witnessed the human rights abuses during her time in a facility between November 2017 and March 2018, where she was forced to teach Chinese and Communist Party propaganda to fellow detainees.

She told the Israeli paper, Haaretz she witnessed detainees being tortured by electric shock, with metal nails, and by having their fingernails pulled out. Detainees were deprived of food, forcibly given pills and injected with unknown substances. Sauytbay also recalled an instance where a female detainee was gang raped by several of the camp’s police officers in front of other inmates.

She also said that she is not certain of the camp’s exact location, as she was transported there with a black sack over her head. However, she estimates it held about 2,500 inmates ranging in age from 13 to 84, with a mixture of businessmen, writers, nurses and doctors, artists, schoolchildren, and workers.

Her testimony corroborates with previous interviews other newspapers conducted with former Uyghur detainees, who said they were subject to torture, forced to denounce their faith, and forced to pledge loyalty to the CCP while held for unknown reasons in often overcrowded facilities.

Read more about it here:

https://www.theepochtimes.com/uyghurs-tortured-and-raped-in-chinas-re-education-camps-former-detainee-reveals_3126427.html

Now, we have a choice — to believe ex-detainees who escaped like her, or the official China version that these are simply “boarding schools” to “teach” Uyghurs to be patriotic Chinese.

But let’s say that the escapees are telling the truth, do you agree with such detention, simply because they are Muslims?

Already most South Korean companies left, as did many Japanese companies. Time for the world to shut and lock the door with trade with the brutal Communist Regime.
