The "testimony" from at least these first two "scholars" appears very orchestrated with the D's talking points.

They add "for his personal gain" to the call transcript to make their case which clearly there has been no factual evidence of that, only feelings, presumptions, and opinions.

I'm surprised that this idea hasn't gotten more push back. To me, "personal gain" would have been if Trump received some sort of private gain, to his business or family, for example. But, all he even asked for was to have an official government investigation of possible corruption. And while it would have benefited Trump, politically, it would have also benefited all the other Democrats running for the nomination and it would have benefited the American people, who would have been informed of a corrupt politician.
