The President demanded that the newly- elected Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, publicly announce investigations into a political rival that he apparently feared the most, former Vice President Joe Biden, and into a discredited theory that it was Ukraine, not Russia, that interfered in the 2016 presidential election. Both these statements in the summary are ridiculous and not supported by any facts in evidence. Nobody said that it was only Ukraine that interfered in the election, it has always been the assertion that both Ukraine and Russia tried to influence the election. There is clear public evidence of Ukraine's meddling.

I’ve read the entire thing and it’s quite interesting......No, seriously I watched the hearings, perused the transcripts and unless the report is a complete volume of fiction, it’s a complete nothingburger.

The allegations about Vice President Biden were without evidence, and the U.S. Intelligence Community had unanimously determined that Russia, not Ukraine, interfered in the 2016 election to help the candidacy of Donald Trump. Despite the falsehoods, Ambassador Sondland would make it clear to Ukrainian officials that the public announcement of these investigations was a prerequisite for the coveted White House meeting with President Trump, an effort that would help the Presidents reelection campaign. Both of these assertions are refuted by public facts. No Ukrainian official ever acknowledged any tie between investigations or meetings with the delay in aid. You can't have coercion unless the party being coerced indicates they were forced to do something they didn't want to do. This is not evidence, it is a political ad.

This report was found in the fiction section of the local D.C. library.

I. The President's Misconduct: The President Conditioned a White House Meeting and Military Aid to Ukraine on a Public Announcement of Investigations Beneficial to his Reelection CampaignActually
- An investigation into the past Corruption including he payoffs to the Bidens and Kerrys is in the best interest of America. It doesn't matter if revealing that corruption helps Trump politically.
- An investigation into the 2016 election interference by Ukraine and by the Ukrainian company Crowdstrike is in the American interest. Again if it helps the President politically, too bad.
- There is no evidence the aid or the meetings were conditioned on anything.
- Sondland's call with Trump clearly indicated "No Quid Pro Quo".
- Sondland admitted that no one told him that there was any quid pro quo's, that he presumed it.
- The transcript was clear and there was no quid pro quo.
- It's also clear that there was no quid pro quo because it never came up in conversations with the Ukrainian officials after the phone call.
- The meeting and the aid occurred without Ukraine doing any thing.
II. The President's Obstruction of the House of Representatives' Impeachment Inquiry: The President Obstructed the Impeachment Inquiry by Instructing Witnesses and Agencies to Ignore Subpoenas for Documents and Testimony
Well
- Separation of powers and Executive Privilege.
- This is the third year of witch hunts.
- Democrats created an unfair hearing environment that denied Republican witnesses, due process, and basic fairness.

So - they simply repeated their false narrative that was directly contradicted by the witness testimony - THEIR OWN witnesses.
Despite their repeated efforts to squeeze witnesses to say specifically that their narrative was the facts - it just didn’t play out that way.

“President Trumps scheme subverted U.S. foreign policy toward Ukraine...”
The President’s policy IS U.S. foreign policy, whether someone else likes that or not. That’s the old “elections have consequences” thing that we heard about for 8 long years under Obama. Well, he was correct about that (not much else, mind you, but about that he was).
“...and undermined our national security”
That, like our foreign policy, is in the eye of the beholder. However, it should be pointed out that Obama never sold so much as a single gun to Ukraine - it was only under Trump that we started to actually give Ukraine weapons with which to kill Russians and take out their equipment. So if he dialed that back a bit for whatever reason or reasons, he STILL did more to hurt Russia (if that is one’s sole guiding foreign and national security guide) than Obama.
This is ALL political, and the RNC should undertake a MASSIVE advertising campaign in close districts to let voters there know about this. This entire set of baseless accusations since the time Trump was elected were and are about nothing more than overturning the 2016 election. We all know this - but most voters aren’t paying much attention.

Has Trump resigned yet?
Any word on who will tell him the ‘BAD’ news?
Best yet:

Bump for reference. Perhaps soon it will be time to write my Democratic party congressman with details of why he must avoid this pack of lies and propaganda.

They don’t even claim bribery and quid pro quo, but ‘conditioning’ and ‘abuse of power.’
What a laugh.

Trump investigating alleged past crimes is impeachable.
Obama using the IRS to block political opponents before his re-election is just fine.

I read it too. It doesn’t sound anything like what I have seen and read, but then Schiff is just putting it out for the media and non-IQ libs.
