I wouldn’t care to encourage that sort of thing.
Too many adults have a far easier time ‘celebrating’ Halloween vs Christmas.

I think the Dutch and/or Norweigians already weave Satan into the Christmas Season. They have a character called Black Peter or Zwarte Piet. A Court Jester type character with a face that is literally as black as coal. He leaves a lump of coal in bad children’s stockings. There has been some modern day push back against getting dressed up like Black Peter, but the tradition still continues here and there.

All the Scandinavian countries as well as Austria have similar traditions—it wouldn’t surprise me if it also can be found in Germany and some of the Slavic countries.

Even outside of these realms the lump of coal can be found.
