So the plane flies all the way from Paris to Boston with the slide flapping in the wind and it finally falls off when it reaches its destination?

Would have sounded like someone outside wanting to come back in after a cigarette break. There’s a light on the panel that shows deployed.

Wenhan Huang... Nice New England name.
It was his cousin, Som Ting Wong who saw it fall. His other cousin, Ho Lee Phuk yelled out a warning to the neighbor lady.

these are attached to the doors on the INSIDE, and in overhead compartments? Beware of what Bubba can do to your system. If you report three problems to Bubba, he'll fix one, leave one, and create one.

I was in high school in 1965 when a Boeing 707 taking off from SFO bombed San Bruno with one of its engines. We heard the boom when the engine hit. The 707 lost all of the outboard wing down to the engine mount, but landed safely.

If a slide falls in my yard, I’m keeping it.
To: ProtectOurFreedom

How’d the slide get from inside the plane to outside?

HOW is this physically possible? these are attached to the doors on the INSIDE, and in overhead compartments? The over-wing exit slides on many planes are not inside doors. They deploy from external panels.

Pics show it wasnt fully unrolled, with no apparent damage. So, it mustve popped out over their yard on approach at slower speed.
But - hows that happen without a door opened?

At least it was a slide and not another body that fell in Milton. In looking through a WWI photo book, I saw a Holy Crap shot of a group of soldiers standing around a human "gingerbread man" like impression in the ground. The cutline said it was a German Zeppelin crew member who bailed sans chute when the airship caught fire.
In another book it mentioned that the airship crews and fighter pilots flew with no chutes on board due to the extra weight. They must have clanked when they walked.
