Those who acted to stop their being put on the trains were themselves put on the trains, along with their families. A free and civil society is a fragile thing.

There were many many Germans who were anti-Semitic and who had no problem with Jews being killed I wonder now if the percentage of Germans that allowed the Holocaust it’s about the same percentage around 40% that we have now as Democrats

From what I understand most Germans thought the trains were relocating the Jews to “the East” and that was a colloquial term for Ukraine going back decades.
