President Donald Trump met with former Clinton strategist and pollster Mark Penn last Monday, according to reports.
Penn, who helped former President Bill Clinton weather the storm of his impeachment assault in the 90s, met with President Trump to share polling data and advice for the president.

For what it’s worth ... Mark Penn has spent a good part of the last few years shredding the Democrats for failing to see what made Trump a successful candidate and what has made him such an effective President.
Trump does not want to let that fox in his henhouse. He will be leaking like a wash basin without a bottom.
If I didn't know who the guy was, I'd almost swear he was a Freeper. He made a lot of very astute observations about the modern political scene that you'll often find in threads here on FR. A perfect example was the question he was asked about what he thought was the most important and far-reaching political/cultural development in the U.S. through the early years of the 21st century. His answer shocked me: "The rise of home schooling."
Clinton just released all the dirt he had on Republican congressmen to the Washington Post during the impeachment trial. A bunch of them ended up resigning.
The Senate was put on notice they were next. The Senate voted quickly to avoid anymore issues.
Yeah I don’t see why this is a story.
Trump has proven a million times he knows what he’s doing.

You may be in violation of some obscure FR unwritten rule that does not allow teasing. Your comment about Mark Penn really caught my eye. How about filling in some blanks.
He knows Trump is going to WIN in a landslide and Penn has enough professional sense to know it's better to "join them" than be beat severely by them.
He could be helpful to Trump's campaign... but I would advise, "watch your back."

Yeah; but that could be taken in two ways. Did he consider home schooling a good thing or a bad thing?
I’ve heard Penn a few times, and put him in the same category as Doug Schoen, who is pretty fed up with his party. At least he says he is sometimes. Yet, he’s still in it.
Penn is a poster. Not a partisan.
Actually Penn has been very supportive of Trump . . . for some time.
