What needs to be done is that every Federal Agency that goes along with this type of nuanced bashing needs to be purged of the embedded bureaucrats. The not-for-profit think tanks or universities that do this are to be listed as propagandists for those that hate America. They are the quislings, the cowards, the traitors and need to be remembered, including those people that are members or leading these organizations.
Of course in what constitutes the household costs of wage-earners local and state taxes are ignored, and THEY are part of cost-inflation. and more so than many products consumers have to buy today which have seen far less inflation.
When the folks who made up the index factor in state and local taxes, in trying to explain how wages have inflated less than costs, then we might listen. Then they have to separate all their data by state, and determine in which states is the wage-to-costs gap most and in which is it less.
Everything I have seen suggests the income and affordability divide is greatest in the “Liberal” run states.
“National” statistics should seldom be the topic. They hide too much in how they hide how things differ from state to state.

I said he doesn't produce anything that brings in the money that pays his salary. Or our 4 former Sheriffs.
I'm not saying we should have NO government. I'm saying the explosive expansion of government decreases the earning power of the source of the money that pays for that government.
I only mentioned our Sheriff as an example. You conveniently overlooked my mention of the thousands of other government employees. Many of whom are nothing more than redundancies. If our only government employee was our Sheriff, you'd have a point.

The India scam is the worst of the two. They bring in "consultants", with pie in the sky sales pitches about everything they can do, only to screw it up and then come out of the woodwork to take credit after domestic in house employees fix the mess.

Jobs are getting worse for the average worker. I work in employee benefits for 35 years. Benefits have been dropping and employees pay more every year.
The minimum wage I earned in 1978 is almost $15 an hour today based upon the cpi calculator.
We are on the race to the bottom. Illegals, offshoring, HB-1 lowering wages.
Companies are now hiring temp workers so no benefits etc
Other than maybe 35-40% of workers who are doing great the other 60% have been treading water.
