Not going to celebrate just yet. The recent election losses in KY, VA, and Louisiana had blacks aggregated at 84% Democrat and 8% Republican. If even 15% of blacks had voted GOP, let alone 34%, those KY and LA would be looking at GOP governors by now
You’ve still got to have decent candidates. Last I looked at it, even the winning incumbent LA Dem governor had fewer votes than the GOP Sec of State. It was the gubernatorial candidate and GOP voters not solidifying behind him. I didn’t look at Kentucky at all.
