Yep, and go try to correct any of that article in a positive light. It will not be allowed...

“...as “creditable” fact by their biased review board.”

Same thing happens with school text books. Lefties contributing, reviewing and certifying lefties. The proggie echo chamber is wide, deep and global.

So many naive, ignorant and lazy sheeple nowadays. My gut tells me (makes my heart break) that proggies will be given full control before too long. We’re just not fighting in any truly effective way (requires hemp and lead ingredients). Glad I knew my grandpa’s America, and I sure miss it.

History has a way of heading in strange directions.

One possibility the left fears (and correctly so, imho) is that the average citizen in a generation or two will totally reject all intellectual pursuits and will focus on what is in front of their face.

If they don't like it, they will strike out at whoever they believe caused it, and the "leaders" and "intellectuals" will get hung first. (sorta a Dark Ages after the Roman Empire kinda thing...)

“Glad I knew my grandpa’s America, and I sure miss it.”

I was fortunate also. It has become absolutely surreal by comparison and my major concern are my Grandchildren and their future. My kids are level headed and doing a good job with the Grandkids, but I fear at some point society will indeed dictate against their will or control just as it is doing with us now. In order to function and survive they will be forced to submit, there won’t even be anywhere to run and get away from it, we are the last.

One great model for long-term maintenance of “out of date” values is the Amish and the Mennonites.

I have been fortunate enough to know some of those folks, and they are totally amazing—hardworking, friendly (as long as you are friendly), and determined to maintain their traditions.

I think they can survive as a rural people—with no political aspirations.

Unfortunately this is now slowly being looked down on and removed as an option. The way it is going, they too will soon be forced to submit to the city ideology and culture through governmental “one size fit’s all” force.

Freedom of religion to maintain what they have chosen is just about gone. And any new efforts to do the same as the Amish and the Mennonites is immediately considered and labeled to be anti-government “cultist” domestic terrorism.

If you had predicted to my grandparents how America is now, they’d all have said you’re crazy.

If we could ask our Founders what they think of America today, they’d say “We set it up to last and gave you specific warnings. It was yours to keep. You ignored our warnings.”

Yes, but it won't stay. I've contributed small edits with supporting citations, and they were up; within an hour or so the pages had been reverted, no sign of my edits, not a browser cache issue. Wikipedia can be useful, in practice it isn't worth participating in or relying on 100%. It is most helpful as a source of sources in the footnotes, followed by a web search.

Wikipedia is useless for anything even tangentially linked to political views. It has an overt liberal bias in all cases that I have observed. For actual facts about ‘hard’ subjects, like geology, astronomy, physics, and chemistry, it’s great, and sometimes better than more traditional sources.

Like any source, it is critical that you understand it’s limitations.

They won’t admit Dan Rather lied and FR posters caught him red-handed—a great example of Wikipedia bias in opposition to clear facts.

They've even purged one of the major players (who first noted discrepancies) from their pages.

I agree, can’t throw out the baby with the bathwater. It is a buyer beware situation. Unfortunately most don’t have the capability to separate the differences between good info and bad.

I have had my conflicts, and it is evident that a definite liberal and atheistic bias is overall expressed as regards ideology, plus there are some very controlling veterans that enable it.

Look at the attempt to provide much of anything negative about Pete Buttigieg in the Wikipedia article.

Well, I have to respect and appreciate that you can find the patience and drive to go battle them in there. Personally I could not do it. I would go rogue and denounce the whole thing on their own propaganda page. lol

“It is the largest and most popular general reference work on the World Wide Web,”

Would become the “most popular general “propaganda” work on the World Wide Web”. And I would spend every waking minute proving it over and over. There is no lacking of evidence and proof of this fact throughout their whole platform.

And you would have to battle the biased liberals whose justification for what is actually censorship is never lacking based upon their interpretation of some policy.

I know, it is only censored if it is against their own ideology. It is a double standard and lacks any objectivity. But I see this in a lot of sources.
