The Washington Post Helps Identify FBI Lawyer Who Altered FISA Docs…
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 11/22/19 | Sundance

At 8:15pm last evening Washington Post journalist Devlin Barrett posted a supportive article for the CNN (Manu Raju) news exclusive that outlined an “FBI Official” who was under criminal investigation as an outcome of the inspector general review of FISA.

The original WaPo article by Devlin Barrett noted the FBI official was actually a “line-level” lawyer who worked “under FBI Agent Peter Strzok.”

At 12:15am, the WaPo article was significantly edited, two more journalists (Ellen Nakashima and Matt Zapotosky) were added to the byline. Unfortunately, no explanation or notation of the changes were given....... If you have followed the case closely, the intentional removal of Peter Strzok in combination with the explanation of the lawyer’s FISA responsibilities; and in combination with prior reporting of FBI lawyer 2; it seems pretty obvious the line-level lawyer was Kevin Clinesmith.

Clinesmith’s the guy who went on and on in his texts about ‘initiating the destruction of the republic,’ destroying the republic, etc.

True. But don’t be misled. Clinesmith is very small fry. This goes all the way up to Obama, and sweeps in Brennan, Clapper, Lynch and dozens more on the way up. Hopefully the pucker factor in the FBI, DOJ and CIA is very high.....and should include numerous other Repubs and Rats, as well.

Well, there probably were times when she was over him too, and there are 69 reasons why just the thought of those two is barf inducing.

About Clinesmith: Clinesmith lamented Clinton’s loss the day after the election, messaging to several FBI employees, “I am numb.” He added, “I am so stressed about what I could have done differently.”

Clinesmith also expressed regret over the reopening of the Clinton email case on Oct. 28, 2016, arguing that it “broke the momentum” of Clinton’s campaign. He warned at the time that the belated move, which was pressured by leaks over the discovery of additional classified emails on the laptop of Clinton’s aide in New York, could initiate “the destruction of the republic.”

After Clinesmith messaged another FBI employee that he was “just devastated” over Trump’s unexpected victory, he launched into a rant: “I just can’t imagine the systematic disassembly of the progress we made over the last 8 years. ACA is gone. Who knows if the rhetoric about deporting people, walls, and crap is true. I honestly feel like there is going to be a lot more gun issues, too, the crazies won finally. This is the tea party on steroids. And the GOP is going to be lost, they have to deal with an incumbent in 4 years. We have to fight this again. Also Pence is stupid.”

Then Clinesmith soon sent another text: “I am so stressed about what I could have done differently,” read another message that apparently referenced the Clinton email investigation.

Asked in one text message after the election if he had changed his mind about Trump, Clinesmith wrote: “Hell no. Viva le resistance.” ----- via A couple of things you might not know about the FBI conspiracy against Trump Flopping Aces ^ | 06-26-18 | DrJohn

IG: McCabe Used Strzok’s Mistress To Bypass Chain Of Command To Monitor Clinton Probe

Lisa Page, who was Special Counsel to McCabe, became involved in the Midyear investigation after McCabe became the Deputy Director in February 2016. Page told the OIG that part of her function was to serve as a liaison between the Midyear team and McCabe.

Page acknowledged that her role upset senior FBI officials, but told the OIG that McCabe relied on her to ensure that he had the information he needed to make decisions, without it being filtered through multiple layers of management.

Several witnesses told the OIG that Page circumvented the official chain of command, and that Strzok communicated important Midyear case information to her, and thus to McCabe, without Priestap’s or Steinbach’s knowledge. McCabe said that he was aware of complaints about Page, and that he valued her ability to “spot issues” and bring them to his attention when others did not.

The Praetorian Guard can’t imagine the worm turning. They, after all, control the narrative. A good gaslighting is all it takes.

Didn’t Lisa Page work “under” Agent Strzok?

Sometimes. I think they had some variety for spice.

Exactly. So the FBI feeds 2 of the worst rat tools (CNN & WaPos) the “scoop”. What does that tell you? I hope everyone wasn!t expecting anything but a whitewash from Horowitz and that Rat stooge Wray. I still have some hope for Durham and Barr.

The strategy is in the article itself: some things were altered but the core of the documents were accurate and the investigation was sound since Russia hacked the DNC and worked with Trump to influence the election. Nothing of substance has really changed on the left.
